Following the draw for the League Stage of the 2026/27 AFC Champions League Elite, the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has released the detailed fixture list. Accordingly, Hanoi Police FC will play a total of 8 matches, including 4 home games at Hang Day Stadium and 4 away trips.
CAHN will begin their campaign in Asia's most prestigious club competition with an away match against Gamba Osaka on September 15, 2026. The game will kick off at 19:00 local time at Suita City Football Stadium, which is 17:00 Vietnam time.
In the second matchday on October 13, the Vietnamese representative will return to Hang Day Stadium to host Kashima Antlers at 19:15. This will also be CAHN's home debut in the new AFC Champions League Elite season.
On October 27, CAHN will face another major challenge when they travel to China to meet Shanghai Port. The match will take place at 18:00 local time (17:00 Vietnam time) at Pudong Football Stadium.
The next two matchdays bring significant advantages for the police team as they will play consecutive home games at Hang Day. CAHN will face Kyoto Sanga on November 3 before hosting Vissel Kobe on November 24, both matches starting at 19:15.
On December 1, CAHN will make their third away trip to Japan to take on Kashiwa Reysol. The match will kick off at 19:00 Japan time, equivalent to 17:00 Vietnam time.
After a break of more than two months, CAHN's squad will return to the continental stage on February 9, 2027, with a home game against Beijing FC at Hang Day Stadium. The final matchday will take place on February 16, when the Vietnamese representative travels to face Malaysian champions Johor Darul Ta'zim at Sultan Ibrahim Stadium.
Looking at the schedule, the biggest challenge for CAHN comes from the Japanese representatives. As many as 5 out of 8 opponents of the Vietnamese team are from the J.League, including Gamba Osaka, Kashima Antlers, Kyoto Sanga, Vissel Kobe, and Kashiwa Reysol. In addition, Shanghai Port, Beijing FC, and Johor Darul Ta'zim are also experienced opponents on the continental stage.
